Health Insurance

UC requires that ALL STUDENTS are covered by major medical health insurance while attending UCLA. To ensure this requirement is met, all students are automatically enrolled in UC Student Health Insurance Plan (UC SHIP) and billed a health insurance premium plus user fees as part of regular tuition and enrollment fees.
