Q: What are next steps after applying?
A: Selected applicants will be scheduled for a single interview to evaluate technical depth and leadership potential. Those selected to move forward will receive an invite for the Pre-MBA program upon passing the interview.
Q: How do I prepare for the Pre-MBA preliminary interview?
A: The Amazon Student Programs team will host interview prep sessions as a resource for applicants.
Q: What if I am still working during July 2022?
A: Students should expect to adjust their work schedules to allow for two to four hours of virtual sessions during afternoons (PT) and evenings (ET). Students will need to dedicate the full day during the last three days of the program to attend in-person events in Seattle, Washington.
Q: Can I still apply to Amazon’s 2023 MBA Internship Opportunities if I do not get invited to the program or receive an internship offer through the program?
A: Yes. Pre-MBA Immersion participants may apply formally in the following academic year if they do not receive an offer through the Pre-MBA program.
Q: Is there any cost to participate in the Pre-MBA Immersion?
A: The program is free for all selected participants. Amazon will sponsor students’ travel and lodging for the in-person events at the end of the program. International students are welcome to apply, though only domestic travel will be sponsored. Amazon will not make any direct payments to students outside of travel/lodging sponsorships.
Q: Are international students eligible to apply for this program?
A: Yes international students are welcome to apply. Kindly note that virtual events will be held in afternoon (PT) and evening (ET) timings.
