"I chose the UCLA MFE program because with my background in finance, I found the specificity of the program quite intriguing as a graduate-level follow up. UCLA also offers world-renowned programs of different non-business distinctions, and I thought that the balance this academic environment provides would be best suited for my diverse interests.
I am enjoying the upper-level learning of complex financial strategies. Finance is a study that is specific to a man-made resource – money – however, many mathematic and scientific processes roll over from natural sciences and the correlation when taught in classes is fascinating (such as Brownian motions).
UCLA Anderson MFE is helping me achieve my goals by challenging and forcing me to develop new ways of learning and outperforming past versions of myself. The program is rigorous, that is a soft-fact, but the patient pursuit of understanding the complex course load is worth it.
