Felipe Caro
Faculty Director, Associate Professor of Decisions, Operations and Technology Management
Associate Professor of Decisions, Operations and Technology Management Felipe Caro leads UCLA Anderson's new M.S. in business data analytics. He holds editorial positions at Production and Operations Management and Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, and he has won multiple awards and contributed significantly to the international academic literature on supply chain management. His Management Science article Product and Price Competition with Satiation Effects was awarded first prize in the 2010 INFORMS Junior Faculty Interest Group Paper Competition.

Paul Brandano
Executive Director, UCLA Anderson FEMBA (‘06)
Paul joined the Master of Science in Business Analytics in 2017 as its first Executive Director. He brings 15 years of experience in higher education, high technology management, marketing and sales to the program. Paul experienced firsthand the power of business analytics in his work at IBM as a Client Executive and Business Analytics Software specialist. In his work with IBM, Paul supporting senior executive clients in their efforts to solve complex challenges with technology. Paul worked to bring the best of IBM hardware, software and technology services together to meet unique client demands. In the most recent 5 years, Paul served as the Executive Director of the Global Access Program, where he was responsible for the marketing, client recruiting for UCLA Anderson’s world-renowned experiential education program. Paul recruited over 250 high technology companies from 11 countries to work with UCLA Anderson Fully-employed MBA candidates to determine the viability of foreign market entry. In that effort, Paul worked with governments, NGOs and partners to identify high potential technology companies and support them through the transformative experience.

Larry Braman
Director, Career Services
Larry Braman built the Career Services function for UCLA Anderson's MSBA program. In addition to advising and mentoring MSBA students, he also leads efforts in developing relationships with companies that would benefit from hiring MSBA students in internships and full time roles. Previous to joining Anderson, Larry founded a successful career consultancy, Global Career Consulting & Placement, as well as Career University, an online career learning platform. Larry has designed and delivered hundreds of career development workshops and seminars for organizations such as Amgen, CBRE, Kia Motors USA, Baxter Healthcare, and the California Community Foundation. Previously, he held management or creative roles at Disney, Warner Brothers, MGM, and Macy's. A graduate of the University of Virginia and Circle in the Square Theater School, Larry also holds a Certificate in Advanced Leadership and Management from UCLA Anderson.

Frinee Berrios
Associate Director
Frinee Berrios joined the UCLA Anderson Master of Science in Business Analytics program in 2018. Berrios provides administrative and student affairs support. She is responsible for day-to-day office operations, event and program management, financial management, admissions and recruitment for the program. She obtained an M.S. in higher education from Florida International University.

Finance and Operations Manager
Crystal Hwang
Finance and Operations Manager
Crystal Hwang joined the UCLA Anderson Master of Science in Business Analytics program in 2021. Hwang previously provided faculty support to the Marketing Academic Area and has taught English abroad in South Korea. She is responsible for the financial management and operations of the program. She is currently enrolled in the Fully Employed MBA Program at UCLA Anderson.

Nery E. Rosa-Beltran
Student Affairs Coordinator
Nery joined the Master of Science in Business Analytics Team in 2022 as the Student Affairs Coordinator. His passion to work with students began early in his undergraduate years at California State University-Northridge where he majored in Sociology and Double Majored in Religious Studies. Here he learned the fulfillment of helping students achieve their goals as Peer Mentor for incoming freshman. Later he took on the role of Area Recruitment Manager for the Kappa Sigma Fraternity where he spent time developing chapters in the Midwest and helping undergraduate students find fulfilment of their own through their respective schools. Nery’s goal is to ensure that each student has the best experience they could possibly have so that they can share that experience for future years to come.

Cheryl Asahi
Career Services Coordinator
Cheryl Asahi is part of the Career Services team for UCLA Anderson's MSBA program. Cheryl leads logistics for recruiting events and career workshops to help students access and land the full-time employment and internship opportunities they desire. She also manages communication with MSBA students and partners. In addition, she has a lead role in managing various career databases. Previous to joining Anderson, Cheryl obtained her B.A. in English from UCLA.

Vash Doshi
Industry Relations Manager
As MSBA’s Manager of MSBA Industry Relations, Vash Doshi is driven to help students and MSBA’s hundreds of partner firms find each other to create the perfect analytics fit. On a daily basis, he strives to show employers why UCLA Anderson MSBA has for the past four years been ranked the #2 place in the world to study and build an analytics career.
Vash believes in the magic of people. Whether through developing and advocating for reciprocal market access for American firms so that more Americans can find meaningful jobs and grow their businesses via internships at U.S. Departments of State and Commerce, or by counseling over 500 students to help them find their perfect career, he has over five years of experience helping people make magic happen. He is currently finishing up his Ph.D. in Political Science at UCSB and holds an M.A. in International Studies from the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies.
