The Information Systems Research Program (ISRP) hosts a number of visitors to the UCLA Anderson School of Management under its Visiting Fellows Program. The ISRP's Visiting Fellows include both Industrial and Academic Fellows. Industrial Fellows typically visit under the provisions of an IS Research Associate membership, while Academic Fellows include Visiting Scholars and advanced doctoral candidates from universities around the world.

Industrial Fellows

Typically employed in new technology research and development, industrial fellows visit for one to two weeks, present their work and interact with faculty and students in a variety of venues while building important relationships for the future.

Visiting Scholars

Often on sabbatical leave from their home institutions and are in residence at UCLA Anderson for a period up to one year, visiting scholars typically engage in specific research projects during their stay, often in collaboration with Anderson faculty.

Doctoral candidates

Doctoral candidates visit for one term or more and are usually registered as students while here. They typically have passed their qualifying exams and are preparing or working on their dissertation, while being advised during their stay by Anderson faculty.

Applications to the ISRP's Visiting Fellows Program are welcome throughout the year. To apply, simply submit a letter of application specifying the purpose and timing of your proposed visit, your curriculum vitae and an accompanying letter of endorsement from a sponsoring Anderson faculty member.
