Due to their senior status, most EMBAs find opportunities by leveraging their classmates, the Anderson Alumni, and their existing network.
Some EMBAs looking to start fresh can participate in on-campus recruiting activities alongside students in the full-time MBA program. Keep in mind that on-campus recruiters are often looking for entry-level MBA jobs. Most EMBAs are in senior roles in terms of responsibility and compensation. On-campus recruitment is also designed for the full-time student's schedule and needs. As a result, many information and networking sessions occur during the week and the day. While on-campus recruiting is available to EMBAs, the Career and Leadership team does not recommend it as a primary job search strategy. Please speak to the Admissions team if you are interested in pursuing on-campus recruiting.
Instead of on-campus recruiting, EMBA students have the opportunity to participate in a Reciprocity Ring with their classmates throughout the EMBA program.
Hear from UCLA Anderson's dedicated career development team below to learn about the flexible resources and support they provide to transform your goals into reality.

“I came to Anderson knowing I wanted to make a career switch and I immediately felt supported and set up to succeed in reaching my career goals. The one-on-one career coaching and career workshops have made me more polished, and I see the change among my classmates as well. The EMBA program is a disrupter: because of all the new experiences and interactions, your feelings about your capabilities will propel you to reach new heights that may not have been on your radar before joining the program.”
