UCLA Anderson is honored to be hosting the Alliance for Research on Corporate Sustainability’s (ARCS) 16th Annual Research Conference in June 2024, which will bring together the research community at our campus in the heart of Los Angeles.
The increased urgency for the public and private sectors to address complex sustainability challenges is a central focus for a city like Los Angeles. From water management and renewable energy to affordable housing and recycling, L.A. is exceptionally positioned to work on sustainable solutions directly affecting the lives of its residents. With support from Los Angeles County and its recently established sustainability plan, L.A. has been prioritizing sustainability targets for the last several years. The city is currently preparing for the 2028 Summer Olympic Games, with a commitment to host the games in a way that is both fiscally responsible and environmentally sustainable. UCLA, as the leading academic institution in Los Angeles, is collaborating on many of these challenges through research, hands-on projects and aspirational initiatives that will help move the needle toward tangible impact.
Join us for a deep dive into the cutting-edge research initiatives going on in the world of corporate sustainability.
