Investment Banking Fellowship
The fellowship helps outstanding students committed to completing summer internships in investment banking navigate the process. Each fellow is matched with three industry professionals in the field who provide career advice and guidance throughout the summer internship recruiting process. The assignment of three mentors – one that is junior, mid-level and senior in their careers – provides fellows with a unique 360° perspective on the investment banking industry. Mentors come from leading firms and are matched based on the fellows’ stated function and geographic location preferences. While the cornerstone of the program is the invaluable mentorship that fellows receive, additional benefits include: a nominal monetary fellowship award and designation as a Fink Fellow.

Open To: First-year MBA students and second-year FEMBA students. Please note, FEMBA students must be OCR-eligible.
Who Should Apply: Students with a demonstrated interest and commitment to recruiting for an investment banking summer internship. We encourage applications both from those with experience in the industry and from those who are considering entering investment banking for the first time.
Application Components
Your application must include the following:
- Completed application form
- Copy of your current resume
- Answers to eight short-answer questions about your background and career goals, and how they relate to the Investment Banking Fellowship program
Applicants chosen to move on to the final round will be invited to interview with a panel consisting of the program administrators, past fellows, and industry professionals.
Selection Criteria:
Fellows will be chosen based on academic excellence, mentorship need, motivation to succeed in the field, and commitment to giving back to the program by staying involved and mentoring future fellows. Fellows are expected to participate in the standard investment banking internship recruiting process through the Parker Career Center, in addition to attending special meetings organized by the program. The final choice of internship is left in each fellows' hands, though the program expects that fellows will choose an internship in investment banking.
Questions about the fellowship program can be emailed to the Fink Center at fink.center@anderson.ucla.edu
