A select few outstanding students are chosen every year to be Fink Fellows in investment banking, investment management, private equity and alternatives, and financial engineering. Each fellow is paired with three industry mentors, who provide invaluable career guidance.
Judge a Pitch Competition
Southern California is the global hub of fixed income, and fittingly, UCLA Anderson hosts one of the only credit pitch competitions in the country. Students from top business schools pitch their best credit investment ideas to a panel of industry expert judges. Be one of those judges.
Speak at an Event
The Fink Center frequently hosts guest speakers who provide critical wisdom from the front lines. Engagements occur throughout the year in a variety of settings, from intimate conversations with a handful of students to major speaking events attended by hundreds in the broader finance community.
Meet with Students
Throughout the year, our students interact with members of the finance community to gain exposure to a considerable range of career options, business advice and mentorship. We rely on our professional network to host students for firm visits, days-on-the-job and business casual luncheon or dinner conversations.
Be a Guest Lecturer
To complement the strong academic foundation that students gain in the classroom from our expert faculty, we look to established practitioners to share their insights from the front lines as guest lecturers. Practitioners speak on a wide range of topics about their areas of work and share how they look at deals and investments.
