MSBA Analytics Symposium with Larry Braman, Director MSBA Career Services; Sasha Litman, McKinsey & Company; Tim Park, Sony Pictures Entertainment; Juliana Tsai, Dine Brands; Mike Thompson, Cedars Sinai Medical Center; Andrew Gottesman, PwC
Our corporate partners tell us that when it comes to analytics, they’re looking to hire a unicorn—that rare professional who can be a bridge between the data and business suites. That’s why the MSBA program sits in one of the top business schools in the world.
At Anderson MSBA, we’re growing professionals who can perform powerful analytics—and understand business well enough to convincingly communicate the data story to the non-tech business leaders who count on their insights. Our graduates assume leadership roles everywhere from startups to major corporations.

The MSBA program invests in the people and resources necessary to deliver a level of career support that is rare among specialty master’s programs. This includes securing the leadership and dedicated services of Larry Braman, who brings over ten years of career consulting experience placing technology-focused professionals. Larry works closely with each student to craft and execute a career plan so they can land internships and full-time jobs in their targeted industries.
Additionally, our program offers numerous career and professional development workshops, with an emphasis on building the communications skills essential to confidently “tell the data story” to stakeholders across the business spectrum.
Larry Braman built the Career Services function for UCLA Anderson's MSBA program. In addition to advising and mentoring MSBA students, he also leads efforts in developing relationships with companies that would benefit from hiring MSBA students in internships and full time roles. Previous to joining Anderson, Larry founded a successful career consultancy, Global Career Consulting & Placement, as well as Career University, an online career learning platform. Larry has designed and delivered hundreds of career development workshops and seminars for organizations such as Amgen, CBRE, Kia Motors USA, Baxter Healthcare, and the California Community Foundation. Previously, he held management or creative roles at Disney, Warner Brothers, MGM, and Macy's. A graduate of the University of Virginia and Circle in the Square Theater School, Larry holds multiple career coaching certifications from Lee Hecht Harrison, the world's leading provider of corporate outplacement services.
