Hi Class of 2025,
Welcome to Anderson from the Anderson Onboarding Committee (AOC)! We can’t wait to meet you all later this summer! This email is to introduce ourselves and make sure you all get an early glimpse at what’s to come from AOC during Onboarding.
Who are we? We’re a team of 18 second-year Full-time MBA students focused on welcoming you to campus and creating the best possible start to your time here - check out this slide deck for our introductions and photos to learn a bit more about us. We are all in the current 2025 Slack channel, so feel free to reach out to us on Slack or via email if you have questions or just want to get to know us better!
How is AOC different from the Full-time MBA Student Affairs Office & the Admissions Ambassador Corps (AAC)? AOC is entirely student-run and focuses on creating opportunities for you to meet, collaborate with, and learn from your peers while having fun. We focus on the Onboarding period and the organized social experiences you'll have with both your classmates and second-year students during that time. You will continue to get emails from Student Affairs, the Parker Career Management Center, and us; we know that’s a lot of email communication, so we will also post on Slack whenever we send an email.
What have you got planned for Onboarding? A whole lot! From beach days and happy hours to trivia and small group dinners, we are planning a blend of activities so you have many opportunities to get to know your classmates and explore LA.
How often will we hear from you? You’ll see a few more emails from us before Onboarding starts (July 31st!), and we’ll continue to be in communication via both Slack and email during August and September.
