What's Current March 2023

March 2023

Welcome to the March edition of our monthly newsletter, What’s Current. In March, we celebrated Women’s History Month, beginning with our annual Velocity Women’s Leadership Summit, led by our Women’s Business Connection (WBC) and Anderson Women. In this newsletter, we spotlight just a few of the incredible women making an impact at Anderson, UCLA and beyond. Among them, Susan Wojcicki (’98), former CEO of YouTube and the recipient of the 2023 John E. Anderson Distinguished Alumni Award. Also showcased this month: The FEMBA student honored with UCLA’s inaugural EDI Student Leadership award, and alumni and students whose projects and passions range from
energy innovation to baby care products, and from startup funding to video game analytics. Looking ahead, next month at Anderson will be packed with notable events: LGBTQ Awareness Week, Impact Week, A Days, our Ethics Summit and the annual Pulse conference honoring Donna Langley, chairman of Universal Filmed Entertainment Group. I hope to see you at many of them!
