2023 Loeb Awards Finalists for Highest Honors in Business Journalism
In 1973, Gerald Loeb entrusted the Loeb Foundation & Awards to UCLA Anderson thanks to his close friendship with Dean Harold Williams. Ever since, we have taken pride in supporting the power of journalism and preserving Mr. Loeb’s legacy of encouraging and acknowledging business and finance reporting that educates and safeguards private investors and the public. The Loeb Awards are regarded as the highest accolade in business journalism in the United States.
The 2023 Loeb Awards finalists consist of 29 organizations and over 175 journalists, selected from a pool of 485 submissions across various forms of media by individual journalists, national outlets, and local and regional sources. Take a look at this year’s Public Viewing Gallery to read the entries that represent the cream of the crop from Associated Press, Bloomberg, BuzzFeed News, CBS News, CoinDesk, Financial Times, Insider, KFF Health News, Los Angeles Times, ProPublica, Reuters, South China Morning Post, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Wired and more.
