Accounting Minor Program

Prepare for a Career in Public or Private Accounting

The Accounting Minor Program provides students with a comprehensive background in different accounting topics including financial and managerial accounting, taxation, financial statement analysis and more. The accounting program not only prepares students to enter careers in public and private accounting but also related fields, such as banking and consulting. The program also provides excellent preparation for graduate programs in accounting, business and law.

Applications are accepted only during the first week of each Fall, Winter, and Spring quarter. To apply to the Accounting Minor Program please visit our Apply to Minor page.

CPA Requirements

All requirements to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are set by the California Board of Accountancy(CBA). Requirement approval is completely and autonomously up to the CBA. The requirements mentioned on this site only apply to California; if you are applying to be a CPA in another state, please review the specific requirements for that state.

If you would like to track your CPA eligibility, please email us at accounting.minor@anderson.ucla.edu.
