Ethics Summit

2024 UCLA Anderson Ethics Summit

Friday, April 26
9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Grand Salon, Marion Anderson Hall
UCLA Anderson

The UCLA Anderson Inclusive Ethics Initiative is proud to invite current Anderson students to participate in this year’s Ethics Summit! Recognizing that transformative leaders must effectively manage complex ethical issues when stakeholders have diverse perspectives and preferences, the annual Ethics Summit provides participants with an opportunity to rise to this challenge, honing skill in a community of peers and experts.

The 2024 summit will be structured as a two-part case competition. The first part will be a mandatory Zoom orientation and skill-development workshop on April 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., which must be attended by at least two people from each team. The second part will conclude the summit with a full-day in-person program on April 26.

Prize Money for Case Competition

Beyond the considerable value of the learning and competition experience itself, we’re excited to offer substantial prize money for the case competition:

  • First prize: $10,000
  • Second prize: $5,000
  • Third prize: $2,500

Sign-up Options

At this stage, we welcome sign-ups from individual participants as well as teams. We welcome teams composed of individuals from all Anderson degree programs (FTMBA, FEMBA, EMBA, MFE, MSBA, Ph.D.).

  • Individual Sign-ups: If you’re passionate about ethics but haven’t formed a team, you can sign up individually. We’ll facilitate your finding teammates.
  • Team Sign-ups: Only one individual from your team should sign up at this point; that person will identify the other team members during the process.

There are limited spots available. We recommend that you sign up as soon as possible.
