Paige Armstrong ('21)
Paige Armstrong is pursuing an MBA with an emphasis on finance at UCLA Anderson. Prior to Anderson, Paige spent six years in consulting and accounting advisory services. Most recently, Paige spent the past four years in PwC's Deals practice. While at PwC, Paige led cross-functional teams and conducted financial due diligence services for clients, including private equity, Fortune 500 and large private companies. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Paige graduated from Bucknell University in 2013 where she studied Accounting. At Anderson, Paige is currently serving as a Director for the Investment Finance Association.
Bob Grech ('21)
Bob Grech is pursuing an MBA at UCLA Anderson with an emphasis on finance. At Anderson, he is a Director in the Investment Finance Association and participates in the Wine and Basketball Clubs.
Prior to Anderson, Bob worked on the internal strategy team at Gerson Lehrman Group where he led various projects to improve the firm’s processes and profitability. Previously, he worked in management consulting at ZS Associates, advising clients through product launches in the Pharmaceutical industry. Bob graduated from Penn State in 2015 where he studied Finance and Information Systems Management.
Michael Jarick (’21)
Michael Jarick is pursuing an MBA at UCLA Anderson with an emphasis on finance. Prior to Anderson, Michael worked in the Transaction Advisory Services department at Ernst & Young where he advised financial sponsor and corporate clients on accounting and financial due diligence issues impacting buy and sell side M&A transactions.
Michael graduated from the University of Tasmania with a B.Comm. in Finance and Accounting and completed an honors year at the University of Queensland. At Anderson Michael is a member of the Investment Finance Association.
Amy Tran (’22)
Amy Tran is pursuing an MBA at UCLA Anderson with an emphasis on finance. Prior to Anderson, Amy worked at various healthcare consulting firms. Most recently, Amy spent the past five years at a non-profit hospital system, Alameda Health System. While at Alameda Health System, Amy led cross-functional teams, conducted financial analysis, and played an active role in key strategic initiatives for the hospital.
Amy graduated from Brown University where she studied Economics and Biology. At Anderson, Amy is currently serving as a Director for the Investment Finance Association.
Eric Bai (’22)
Eric Bai is pursuing an MBA at UCLA Anderson with an emphasis on finance. At Anderson, he serves as a Director in the Investment Finance Association. He is also a member of Tennis Club, Craft Beer Club, and Asian Management Student Association.
Prior to Anderson, Eric worked as a consultant at Berkeley Research Group (BRG), where he specialized in securities litigation and the valuation of intangibles. At BRG, Eric led project teams, conducted financial analyses, and advised clients in various stages of commercial litigation. Eric holds a B.A. in Applied Mathematics and Economics from UC Berkeley.
Stephen Langer ('22)
Stephen Langer is pursuing an MBA at UCLA Anderson with an emphasis on Finance. At Anderson, Stephen is a Director in the Investment Finance Association. He is also a member of the Entertainment Management Association, Creatives at Anderson, and the John Anderson Golf Club.
Prior to Anderson, Stephen worked at Fitch Ratings in the Financial Institutions Group focusing on the North American Banks segment. His primary rating coverage included several regional and community banks. He also served as the lead project manager for the agency’s annual Global Trading and Investment Bank peer rating review. Stephen graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2016 where he majored in International Studies and minored in Entrepreneurship & Management.
Tyler Harvey (’22)
Tyler Harvey is pursuing an MBA at UCLA Anderson with an emphasis on Finance. Prior to Anderson, Tyler worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in the oil-and-gas industry and as a Project Manager for Kimberly-Clark Corporation. At Kimberly-Clark, Tyler managed several multi-million dollar capital projects to improve the Fullerton production facility, then directed operations of three Scott 1000 Bath Tissue manufacturing lines, yielding all-time-high production results.
Tyler graduated from the University of Arizona, where he studied Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California. At Anderson, Tyler is a member of the Investment Finance Association, the Anderson Real Estate Association, and the Public Speaking Club.
Luke Spain (’21)
Luke Spain is pursuing an MBA at UCLA Anderson with an emphasis on finance. Prior to Anderson, Luke worked at J.P. Morgan as a credit analyst and underwriter for middle market clients. While at J.P. Morgan, he assessed the financial profiles of companies to execute senior debt financing transactions.
Luke graduated from UC San Diego where he studied Economics and Finance. At Anderson, he is a member of the Investment Finance Association and Anderson Wine Club.
