Andy Apple (’20)
Summer Internship: Sound Ventures
Andy Apple is pursuing an MBA with a focus on finance and entrepreneurship at UCLA Anderson. Prior to Anderson, Andy spent five years at JPMorgan in New York, most recently covering early stage software, hardware, and internet & digital media companies. He is currently an MBA intern at Wavemaker Partners.
At Anderson, Andy is Director of Venture Capital for the Entrepreneur Association, Director of Alumni Relations for the Jewish Business Students Association and a member of the Investment Finance Association.
Ermias Nessibu (’20)
Summer Internship: Kennedy Wilson and GCM Grosvenor Capital
Ermias Nessibu is pursuing an MBA with an emphasis on real estate and entrepreneurship at UCLA Anderson. Prior to Anderson, Ermias worked at Pathway Capital Management as an Associate where he led new deal execution, conducting due diligence on and recommending private equity investment opportunities across various strategies. Prior to Pathway Capital, Ermias was an investment banking analyst at KPMG Corporate Finance where he advised middle-market clients on mergers and acquisitions within the business services group. During his tenure, Ermias also gained valuable transaction experience rotating through other lines of service, including KPMG's Strategy and Financial Due Diligence group.
At Anderson, Ermias is the director of private equity for the Investment Finance Association and a recipient of the Consortium fellowship. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Old Dominion University with a B.S. in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Virginia.
Evan DeDominicis (’20)
Evan DeDominicis is pursuing his MBA with a focus on private equity at UCLA Anderson. Evan spent the past summer and fall quarter interning at Century Park Capital Partners. During his first year at Anderson, he interned at a growth equity firm.
Prior to Anderson, Evan was the Manager of Corporate Development and M&A at Univar Solutions, a leading global chemical and ingredients distributor. At Univar he was responsible for due diligence and execution of acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures. Previously he worked as a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. Evan received his MS in finance from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business and his BA from Williams College double majoring in math and economics.
Trent Ketterer (’21)
Trent Ketterer is pursuing his MBA at UCLA Anderson. Prior to Anderson, Trent was an Associate at Spitfire Capital, a long/short, small cap value hedge fund based in San Francisco. At Spitfire, his responsibilities included evaluating new investments, financial modeling, due diligence, and monitoring existing portfolio companies. Trent started his career in investment banking in the Technology, Media & Telecom and Equity Capital Markets groups at Wells Fargo Securities where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and debt and equity financings.
At Anderson, Trent holds a leadership role within the Investment Finance Association and is a recipient of the Jeffry and Kristin Brown Distinguished Private Equity and Alternatives Fellowship. Trent received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and is a CFA charterholder.
Michael Richards (’20)
Michael Richards is pursuing an MBA at UCLA Anderson with an emphasis on finance. Prior to Anderson, Michael spent five years working at a Los Angeles-based, business-to-business software-focused private equity firm where he was responsible for the deal sourcing and qualification efforts of the firm’s lower-middle market fund.
Michael currently serves as the Director of Corporate Development and Agency Partnerships for a fast-growing digital marketing agency where he oversees the deal qualification, due diligence, transaction execution, and integration of strategic acquisitions.
Aaron Stoppelmann ('21)
Aaron Stoppelmann is pursuing his MBA with an emphasis on strategy and operations at UCLA Anderson. Prior to Anderson, Aaron worked at Gridiron Capital as an Associate for three years where his responsibilities included evaluating and executing middle-market private equity investments as well as working with existing portfolio companies on a variety of value-added initiatives. Prior to Gridiron Capital, Aaron was an investment banking analyst at Rothschild & Co. in their New York office for two years focused on providing M&A advisory to corporate clients and financial sponsors within the industrials sector.
At Anderson, Aaron has a leadership role in the Investment Finance Association. Aaron received his B.B.A from The University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business, where he graduated with High Distinction with a focus in Finance and Accounting.
