Kate Pletcher '07

Kate Pletcher is the Founder and CEO of Treehouse Partners, a recruiting firm based in Venice, CA. Prior to launching the firm, Kate owned and ran a successful franchised staffing firm in Los Angeles, served as Director of Global Brand Licensing for Skechers (sourcing and managing licensing programs on behalf of the $2 billion brand around the world), and worked as Director of Business Development for bsp (a brand extension consultancy).

In addition to serving as an active member of a number of Los Angeles community organizations, she is very involved across the UCLA campus. She is the Founder of UCLA Anderson’s CEO Forum, a peer-mentoring program for alumni Founders and CEOs… she serves on Anderson’s alumni board as both the Executive Chair of Industries and her Class President… and she serves on the LA Alumni Chapter Board, where she created the Neighborhood Ambassadors program. She serves as Vice President of Bruin Professionals as well as moderator of their Century City chapter. She has served as an adjunct instructor, workshop instructor, and guest lecturer for both the undergrad and Anderson graduate students.

Kate received her BA in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin and her MBA from UCLA Anderson. She lives in Venice with her husband and fellow Anderson alum Erik, son Cain, daughter Finn, and dog Kirby.
