Admission Director's Lunch @UCLA Anderson
After a meeting with EMBA Admissions Director, Sylvia Haas, EMBA Associate Dean, EMBA Career Coach, everyone joins the current EMBA students for lunch in the Executive Dining Room.
Typical Admissions Director's Lunch Agenda:
10:45am - 11:00am: Conversation with Director of Admissions and Career Coach
11:00am - 11:40am: Q&A with EMBA Alumni
11:40am - 12:00noon: EMBA Associate Dean
112:00 noon - 1:30pm Lunch with EMBA students
The best way to learn if the Executive MBA Program is right for your career and educational aspirations is to attend an EMBA Admission Director's Lunch. Here, the Director of EMBA Admissions, along with EMBA Associate Dean and the dedicated EMBA Career Coach will introduce the program to a group of working professionals. A panel of EMBA Alumni will share their stories and will entertain questions from attendees about the application process, the curriculum and what makes UCLA's EMBA program distinctive from other EMBA programs. The EMBA Associate Dean will join the group to discuss SMR and EMBA Global electives. Afterwards, attendees join current EMBA students for lunch in the Executive Dining Room.
UCLA Anderson Admission Director's Lunch Off-Campus:
A lunch meeting with a group of prospective students and EMBA Deans, EMBA Admissions Director, current EMBAs, and Alumni to discuss the program.
UCLA Anderson EMBA Coffees:
Meet with EMBA Admissions Staff and a small group of other prospects to discuss the admissions process for the Executive MBA Program.
Breakfast with UCLA Anderson:
A small group of working professionals meet current EMBA students, EMBA Deans, and Admissions Staff and get questions answered about UCLA Anderson and what makes the UCLA EMBA Program distinctive from other programs while enjoying a traditional EMBA Saturday Omelet Bar.
EMBA Application Workshop:
In this interactive session the EMBA application processed is demonstrated and questions answered. Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop.
Executive Resume Writing Workshop:
Susan Dearing, Director of the Professional MBA Career Management Center and EMBA Career Coach, will give an overview of the Executive Resume followed by an opportunity to get feedback on your resume.
Financing Your Executive MBA Workshop:
Hear from EMBA Associate Dean Gonzalo Freixes about how to fully deduct your MBA. Director of Financial Aid, Deb Mincey, will also be presenting how to access financial aid for your MBA. Q & A follows.
Career Goals: Which MBA is Right for You?
The Director of EMBA Admissions and Director of EMBA Career Services discuss how career goals can help you decide which UCLA Anderson MBA Program is best for you.
