UCLA Anderson Global Immersions

UCLA Anderson’s Global Immersion Program lets students select from a variety of subjects and a wide range of international destinations. These global immersions are typically offered during the break between academic quarters, specifically in December, April, June and July.

The Experience

Students attend lectures taught by UCLA Anderson faculty and complete assignments for approximately two months prior to departure.

During the one-week intensive abroad, students receive instruction directly from affiliated local business leaders, government officials and professors at partner universities.

Students augment their classroom experience by visiting local companies and significant places of historical and cultural interest.

Additional program fees apply, as well as costs for course materials, airfare and additional expenses.

International Exchange Program

UCLA Anderson’s International Exchange Program lets students participate in an intensive one-week exchange program with distinguished partner universities worldwide. Students are immersed in the university’s business school, its students and faculty and the culture of the destination country. These courses are offered during the summer from June through September.

The Experience

Students select from a variety of course topics and are given the opportunity to receive direct instruction from the distinguished faculty of the respective partner school.

Students attend lectures at the host school and study alongside local business students.

Students gain a closer understanding of the cultural and business customs of the host country while simultaneously expanding their networks.

No additional program fees apply, but students must pay for all travel-related expenses, including airfare, visa, passport, room and board, and additional expenses.

“Participating in the Seoul National University exchange program allowed me to truly immerse myself into the culture and the business of South Korea. We were able to visit and hear from top executives from eMart, Naver, Jeju Airlines and Amore Pacific, which we wouldn’t have been able to on our own. Another great and fun experience was getting to work with Korean business students discussing the norms and barriers of working in Korea from their perspectives.”
