Board of Directors

The board of directors is the representative body of UCLA Anderson Alumni Network. The board represents the interests of all UCLA Anderson alumni to the school. The board's mission is to assist in the creation of the lifelong relationship between UCLA Anderson and its alumni worldwide.

The board of directors meets twice a year to discuss strategies and initiatives for the organization. The board identifies and implements programs and services that meet the needs of UCLA Anderson's diverse alumni base.

Term: 1 year, July 1 - June 30
The President-elect shall serve during the second year of the President's term and shall shadow the President and perform such other duites and have such other powers as the Executive Committee prescribes. The President-Elect will then assume the role of President to manage the business of the Alumni Network and shall see that all orders and resolutions of the Board of Directors are carried into effect.

Term: 3 years, July 1 - June 30
The chapter presidents chair shall serve as the liaison between the Executive Committee, the geographic chapters of the Alumni Network, and the relevant parties of UCLA Anderson. The chair will act as consultant to the geographic chapters providing support, advice, and counsel to promote their development and success. The chair shall conduct the Chapter Presidents Council meetings to be held at least twice per year, and shall share chapter reports and updates at Executive Committee meetings. The chair may be asked to perform other duties from time to time as specified by the President, Executive Committee or Board of Directors.

Term: 3 years, July 1 - June 30
The development chair shall serve as a liaison between the Executive Committee, the Alumni Network, and the Anderson Office of Development.  In this role, the chair shall help to foster and encourage consistent and loyal alumni donors by educating the UCLA Anderson Alumni Network about the legacy of giving back and the case for giving and ensuring 100% board giving. The chair will coordinate the efforts of the Class Presidents in Development communications with alumni. The chair may also lead other projects pertaining to the development and execution of fundraising programs in coordination with the Anderson Fund and Reunions. The Chair will also be responsible for helping to identify potential leadership donors across our alumni network.  The chair may be asked to perform other duties from time to time as specified by the Board President, or at the request of UCLA Anderson Development or Alumni Relations senior staff members.

Term: 3 years, July 1 - June 30
The Chair-Industries shall be elected for a term of three years and may be re-elected for a total period in office not to exceed six successive years. The Industries Chair is a highly collaborative role, and this individual will be expected to work closely with the Chair-Chapter Presidents Council, Centers of Excellence, alumni industry experts and student-led industry organizations to facilitate communication among them and increase both the quantity and quality of industry-specific events.
