Case Studies - Catalogs
[note: the Rosenfeld Library does not collect copies of individual case studies]

Case Studies - Harvard Business School Catalog
Note: The Rosenfeld Library does not collect copies of individual HBS case studies - even the Harvard Business School's own Baker Library does not, either. Libraries do not have the option of "subscribing" to a database of HBS case studies--no such "subscription database" containing the full texts of HBS case studies exists for libraries to license. Also, HBS case studies are not available to be borrowed from the Baker Library through Interlibrary Loan. The target market for Harvard Business School case studies is faculty and their students' business school course packs--not libraries. Individual students may also order copies of cases--typically priced at around $6.95 each--directly from Harvard Business Publishing. Identify cases using the catalog cited below:

Another option to consider: A "fictional case study" is published in each issue of the Harvard Business Review (HBR), which is available both in print in the Rosenfeld Library, and full text online via the UC-licensed database Business Source Complete Available in person to any library visitors (first priority to current UCLA students, faculty, and staff) and remotely to current University of California faculty, students, and staff via their home campus proxy server or VPN. . To browse/retrieve these articles: click on the preceding link > click on "Search within this publication" > on the Advanced Search screen, set Document Type on "Case Study," and click on Search. As an alternative, click on this link. Available in person to any library visitors (first priority to current UCLA students, faculty, and staff) and remotely to current University of California faculty, students, and staff via their home campus proxy server or VPN.
