Transportation to UCLA from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

Ride-Hailing and Taxi:
The Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) now requires arriving passengers to hail taxis and rideshares (like Lyft and Uber) from the LAXit hub adjacent to Terminal 1. Fares will vary; you can expect to pay a minimum of $50 from LAX to the UCLA campus. The trip will take approximately 25 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic and time of day.

Public Transportation:
Los Angeles and Culver City buses run between LAX and the UCLA campus. They are an economical but slower means of transportation. Allow at least one hour and 15 minutes to UCLA from the airport.

The Westwood FlyAway was discontinued in 2019. Visit UCLA Newsroom for more information about public transit options to campus.
