Change Management helps companies apply tools and processes to manage the people side of change to ensure that your employees more quickly adopt new behaviors and become proficient at required new skills. In this discussion, Hilary Kraft will introduce this topic by presenting research and recommended approaches taught by Prosci, a leading Change Management education firm.

McKinsey and others consistently see that 2/3 of all change projects – including large projects, such as mergers or ERP installations, and smaller projects, such as changing work processes – fail to meet their intended objectives. This is largely because businesses underestimate the impact of people’s resistance to change.

Since her graduation from UCLA Anderson, Hilary has worked as both an entrepreneur and a human resources consultant with the Hay Group, Mercer Consulting and her own firm, HRK Consulting. She is certified in Change Management by Prosci and offers training and consulting to companies in the areas of leadership, communications and change management.
