About Webinar

Do you ever wonder how your company determines your salary and other compensation? Join us in this webinar led by Susan Schroeder (’88) to get an insider’s view of how companies think about pay decisions and the opportunity to “Ask The Expert” about your most pressing compensation questions. We will cover the following topics:

  • Roles and components of compensation
  • How companies build salary, bonus, and long-term incentive structures
  • Features of long-term incentive vehicles i.e. stock options, restricted stock

We will examine various compensation strategies according to the business life cycle, with an emphasis on how compensation issues in startup companies differ from traditional companies. This webinar will also discuss ways with which an individual employee can affect the determination of his/her pay.
