Laying the Foundation of a Successful Home Remodel

Are you interested in a home remodeling project?

If so please join us for a how-to panel covering the do’s and don'ts of home remodeling at Truitt and White Lumber Co.

Owning a home poses many opportunities and challenges. From simple repairs to seismic retrofitting to updated kitchens to new additions, understanding the process and players in residential remodeling will empower you to get the results you want on a budget you can afford with as little disruption to your life as possible.

This event is designed to give you a concise overview and an opportunity to get your questions answered by qualified experts. It will kick off with refreshments and a chance to meet fellow alumni. Next, a walk-through of the steps necessary to complete a project, including timeline considerations and all relevant parties.

Finally a panel of professionals will give an overview of the industry. Afterwards, attendees are welcome to take a tour of the lumber yard with alumni Brian White or continue networking and asking questions one on one. We hope this will provide alumni with an opportunity to avoid many of the pitfalls of home remodelling projects

Total event time is anticipated to run between 1-2 hours. Each Anderson alum can bring one guest; please email Brian White if you would like to bring more.

The nearest Bart station is North Berkeley 1.1 miles away - a 5 minute walk from the University Avenue Amtrak Station. On site parking will be available.
