The UCLA Anderson Alumni Group of San Diego would like to invite you – fellow MBA students and alumni - to connect with us by attending an evening with our special guest speaker, Anand Chandrasekher, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Qualcomm Incorporated. 

Mr. Chandrasekher is Qualcomm’s first CMO and oversees its global marketing and external communications.  He will be sharing with us about his career path, brand-building, and the future of mobility as he highlighted during the 5th Annual Executive Marketing Summit at the New York Stock Exchange in September.

More about our Special Guest Speaker:

Mr. Chandrasekher joined Qualcomm in August 2012 after a 24 year tenure at Intel Corporation.  In his most recent role at Intel, he served as senior vice president in charge of the Ultra Mobility Group and the Intel Atom™ processor family.  Mr. Chandrasekher held a variety of other roles there including co-head of Intel’s Mobile Platforms Group; Worldwide Sales and Marketing Group; and the Workstation Platforms Group. He is best known for his pioneering efforts on the Intel Centrino™ platforms which helped usher in the modern era of mobility.

Mr. Chandrasekher received his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Cornell University, his master’s in operations research from Cornell University; and his Master of Business Administration from Cornell University Johnson Graduate School of Management.  He is also a board member on Cornell’s College of Computing and Information Sciences; a member of the advisory board for Rutberg Wireless; and a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE).
