Interest> Adam Smith Society (ADA)

The Adam Smith Society is a nationwide, chapter-based association of MBA students and business leaders who work to promote on-campus debate and discussion about the moral, social and economic benefits of capitalism. For MBA graduates, the Adam Smith Society also facilitates a national alumni network that connects recent graduates, current students and business leaders with one another. The Adam Smith Society is a project of the Manhattan Institute – a think tank focusing on economic growth, education, energy and environment, healthcare, legal reform, public sector, race and urban policy.

A series of exclusive, on-campus events that give MBA students access to prominent business leaders, academics, journalists and public officials.

National Meeting

The Adam Smith Society National Meeting brings together MBA students, alumni and business leaders for a weekend of thought-provoking panels and lively discussion. The meeting provides a unique opportunity for MBA students to meet with some of today’s most important free-market business leaders and to network with many other students from top business schools across the country. A closing cocktail reception and awards ceremony highlights the winners of our various competitive awards. The National Office provides travel scholarships for Adam Smith Society student members.
