After graduating from UCLA Anderson, Kristine Pearce ('10) gave birth, quit her job to raise her daughter, and re-located to work in Manila. When she moved back to the U.S. in 2017, it was challenging to find a fulfilling career while maintaining a work life balance. Then, she learned about Anderson’s inaugural Career Re-LAUNCH program. The program offered Kristine a supportive alumnae community, access to faculty and Alumni Career Services' career coaching sessions. “Before Career Re-LAUNCH, I would only look at a job if it was an exact fit,” she says. “I realized I was eliminating myself from a lot of opportunities by having a very narrow focus and not even trying at all.” After completing the program, she joined Amazon's Web Services team as a Senior Customer Solutions Manager. She is now giving back to other women by leading a pilot of the AWS Returner’s Program. Read more. |
