Experience & Format


Career Re-LAUNCH is a five-month experience beginning on January 18, 2018, exclusively for UCLA Anderson alumnae preparing to re-enter the workforce. The program offers a three-day, immersive experience at UCLA Anderson with faculty-led classroom sessions and the Velocity Women's Leadership Summit. Virtual resources, including career coaching sessions, guided career exploration, online learning resources and self-assessments, round out the program.


The Impact


Career Re-LAUNCH is a uniquely comprehensive program offering career development, personal development and academic resources — provided by UCLA Anderson faculty and partners — that will connect program participants with a community of alumnae also taking part in a career re-launch journey.


Who Should Apply


UCLA Anderson alumnae who have been out of the workforce for approximately 5 years or more should apply. We encourage applications from alumnae who are ready to explore career opportunities and gain knowledge on current business insights and practices in preparation for re-entry into the workforce.


Program Fee


The program costs $2,500 per participant but generous fellowship support, underwritten by the Office of Alumni Relations, will provide $2,000 to each participant. Admitted program participants will pay a program fee of $500. The program fee will cover:

  • Velocity Women’s Leadership Summit (in-person)*
  • Career Re-LAUNCH classroom (in-person)*
  • Program kickoff webinar (virtual)
  • Career coaching sessions (virtual and/or in-person)

*Includes most meals

  • Birkman Method Assessment (virtual)
  • Online learning library (virtual)
  • Educational materials
  • Planning journal
