Business school students and alumni are more and more likely to consider becoming entrepreneurs. However, for founders and CEOs, a lack of peers to turn to when advice or a shoulder to lean on is needed can feel isolating—so CEO of Stem Jacob Marash ('17) and former CEO of Weblife David Melnick ('96) joined UCLA Anderson's CEO Forum. Marion Anderson Hall Advances Collaboration, Community & Innovation |
Marion Anderson Hall (MAH), Anderson's newest building, opened in January 2020. Completely donor funded, it enables UCLA Anderson to address changes in the learning technologies and career needs of the 21st century. Offering classrooms with the latest technologies, breakout rooms with the flexibility for collaborative learning, plus additional meeting and event areas, MAH serves as the new entrance of Anderson and as a uniting force to bring Anderson programs and students together. On January 30, 2020, UCLA Anderson and Escuela Universitaria Real Madrid Universidad Europea (Real Madrid Graduate School) announced a new partnership aimed at building a culture of excellence in the business of sports and entertainment. Participants of the week-long programs will be able to learn and share experiences with professionals at a highly ranked sports management program, including faculty and staff of the school and top executives from world renowned soccer club Real Madrid C.
