Anderson Entrepreneurs Break into the $50 Billion Femtech Industry |
"When you have a growth mindset, there's nothing you can't accomplish." That's exactly what Mitchella Gilbert ('21) and her 2021 MBA classmates have proven just halfway through business school. The OYA FEMTECH Apparel team has already won multiple pitch competitions, incubated their business at Anderson's Venture Accelerator, and received advice from UCLA Medical Center doctors. With the goal of addressing the needs of women, including female athletes, new moms and women of color, OYA FEMTECH Apparel makes leggings designed to support vaginal health by absorbing moisture and promoting ventilation. If so, we are excited to announce the first industry-focused group in the UCLA Anderson Alumni Network: Healthcare Alumni of Anderson (HAA). Led by president Jim Best ('14), the group began organizing in March and then performed a needs assessment survey.
