Christine McCarthy '81 Named CFO of Walt Disney Company

On June 30, Christine McCarthy '81 was named the new chief financial officer of the Walt Disney Company. In her new role, McCarthy will be overseeing investor relations, corporate planning and control, tax, corporate treasury, corporate real estate, facilities, integrated supply chain management and corporate citizenship. McCarthy previously held the role of Disney's treasurer for the past 15 years. "I am humbled and honored to be entrusted with the role of CFO of this incredibly dynamic company," McCarthy said. "Under Bob's leadership, Disney has delivered record results, and I look forward to working with our talented senior management team as we build on the company's financial strength and strong balance sheet to deliver shareholder value."

Summer Series is Coming to the Bay Area, Los Angeles and Seattle in August

We kicked off Summer Series this past week with a sold out event at BJ’s Restaurants corporate office in Huntington Beach, CA on July 28. UCLA Anderson was treated to behind the scenes access at BJ’s test kitchen with CFO and EVP Greg Levin ’00.
