Aayushi Agarwal
Aayushi is from India and grew up in Mumbai and Bangalore. She has 5 years of experience working as management consultant, product strategy manager and business analyst. She did her bachelor’s pursuing a dual degree in mechanical engineering and mathematics. Prior to joining UCLA, she pursued full-time MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode, India.
Aayushi began her professional journey working as a senior analytics consultant in TATA Consultancy Services working with fortune 500 clients across industries such as healthcare, automotive and CPG clients. After working at TCS for 2 years, she joined American Express as a product manager in the risk and information management team. She found her experience of working with cross-functional teams at Amex very challenging and exciting.
These professional experiences motivated her to broaden her business knowledge and she decided to pursue full-time MBA. At b-school, she focused on academics as well as developing leadership skills. She participated in several b-school competitions, sports and was elected as the board member of university’s corporate relations and placements committee.
After graduating, she joined PwC Management Consulting (US Advisory). Given her background in business and analytics, she was successful at contributing towards data-driven and analytics-oriented client engagements.
At UCLA Anderson, Aayushi has played the role of an active student leader. She is the Director (MSBA relations) at SOMA (Strategy and Operations Management Association). She along with 3 other MSBA/ MBA students have co-founded the product management association @ucla to help students grow in their career as a PM. She has also conducted management consulting workshop at UCLA Anderson for MSBA students who aspire a career in consulting.
She will be interning at Cahoot.ai as product management (MBA) intern during this summer. She earlier accepted an internship with ZS Associates (cancelled due to COVID-19) and has a full-time offer from the company.
