Accounting Waiver Exam – July 14 through July 17
If you think that you possess a superior level of expertise in Accounting, Finance, Microeconomics, and/or Marketing through your undergraduate or recent work experience, you may attempt to waive these courses by taking a waiver exam. This could free you to focus on other things such as recruiting, or you might replace a waived core course with an elective course. CPAs may waive Accounting by certification. CFAs, however, must take the Finance waiver exam. All waiver exams will be conducted online and will be administered through the Bruin Learn portal.
The Accounting exam will be given first, July 14 - 17. The other exams will be held in late August/early September. If you plan to waive Accounting by certification, please upload a copy or screenshot here no later than July 17. It does not have to be currently active and screenshots of the department of consumer affairs or other state licensing board verification website are acceptable.

Optional Online Courses in Math and Excel Available Now
The optional Excel course has now launched! If you feel you need refresher on Excel topics such as formulas and functions, charts, datasets, pivot tables, and more topics, we encourage you to enroll in this optional course. Both the Excel and the previously publicized Math course info and enrollment instructions are available on the Academic Preparation module of the Onboarding 2023 Bruin Learn site. Reminder: you must self-enroll in the Onboarding Bruin Learn site in order to access the optional Excel and Math courses, as well as other important Onboarding information. Instructions for how to self-enroll in the site can be found in Onboarding Email #02 in the Student Affairs Email Archive.Â

Reminder: Student Directory Info and Photo, Name Placard Info, and Name Badge Info All Due June 12!
We'll be producing the student directory for the Full-Time MBA Class of 2025, the name placard you'll use in all of your courses, and the official Anderson name badge you'll use in recruiting events. Please submit your information for all of these items by Sunday, June 12! Visit the Admit Checklist and look for item MBA-510: Student Directory, Name Badge, and Name Placard Verification Form.
In addition, please submit your photo for the directory! The directory is made accessible to faculty, staff, and students for reference purposes. Visit the Admit Checklist and look for item MBA-520: MBA Student Directory Photo Instructions; please submit your photo per the instructions by Sunday, June 12. Please note: we are currently processing the photos we've received thus far, and will confirm receipt on your checklist soon.
