Lisa Greer Quateman


Lisa Quateman has served on the UCLA Ziman Center Advisory Board since 2014 and was the first woman to join the Board at that level.  She is a past President of Commercial Real Estate Women - Los Angeles, and was named as one of California's best real estate attorneys by California Law Business.  She is a proud "double Bruin", having earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in French, Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude, and her Juris Doctor degree, from UCLA.

Lisa has specialized in real estate, financial services and international business matters for over thirty years.  She is a Senior Partner for national law firm Polsinelli, and was the founding Office Managing Partner.  Concurrently Lisa runs a single-family office that owns and operates industrial, retail, hospitality, and multi-family real estate in Los Angeles County, and she serves on several Boards.

A seasoned corporate director, Lisa qualifies as an SEC audit committee financial expert.  She is a trusted advisor to CEOs, recognized for her expertise in growing revenues and managing enterprise risk.  Lisa's current corporate Boards are:  The Comedy Store; The Comedy Channel; and Scherzer International Corporation (Member, Audit and Ethics Committee).  In addition to the Ziman Center Board, in the non-profit arena Lisa serves on the Boards of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce (Executive, Audit and Strategic Planning Committee, Immediate Past Chair of the Global Initiatives Council); National Association of Corporate Directors Pacific Southwest Chapter (Certified Board Leadership Fellow, founder of Real Estate Board Roundtable); City of Hope Board of Governors; and Heidi Duckler Dance.  She is the immediate past Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the UCLA Alumni Association, chairing the Nominating Committee and the Governance Committee, and was its General Counsel from 2014-2016.  Lisa served eight years as a public official, as a member of the Board of Directors of the City of Los Angeles Industrial Development Authority, having been appointed and re-appointed by former Mayors Richard Riordan and James Hahn.

Lisa has received numerous awards and commendations from federal, state and local elected officials; business periodicals, and professional organizations, including the Los Angeles Business Journal, Los Angeles Daily Journal, The American Lawyer, Commercial Real Estate Women Los Angeles, and the Century City Chamber of Commerce.  Most recently Lisa was named "2018 Board Member of the Year" by the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce.
