Jose Leon (’20)
Summer Intership: TCW
Jose Leon is pursuing an MBA with a specialization in Finance - Investment Management at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is a member of the Investment Finance Association and Director of the Anderson Investment Association.
Prior to Anderson, Jose was Deputy Manager of Equities at PICTON, Chile's largest multi-family office. In this role, he allocated funds and made investment decisions both in local and international markets for the equities portion of the portfolio which was valued at $1.2 billion. He started his career at PICTON as an Investment Analyst responsible for the utilities, telecom and IT sectors in Chile. Jose graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile in 2012 with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a minor in Mechanical Engineering.
Zach Lynch (’20)
Summer Internship: First Pacific Advisors
Zach Lynch is pursuing his MBA with a specialization in Finance - Investment Management at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Zach is a member of the Investment Finance Association, a first-year director of the Fink Center Credit Pitch Competition, and a recipient of the UCLA Anderson Merit Fellowship.
Prior to Anderson, Zach was an associate director on the corporate finance team at Nasdaq in New York, where he focused on strategic initiatives, such as M&A analysis and developing Nasdaq's R&D investment framework. Zach began his career at Nasdaq in corporate treasury before transitioning to role in the Office of the CEO. Zach graduated from the University of Washington in 2012 with a B.A., with Honors, in Business Administration - Finance. Zach also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2016.
Harry Packer (’20)
Summer Internship: PIMCO Europe
Harry Packer is pursuing his MBA with a specialization in Finance - Investment Management at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He was a first-year director of the Investment Finance Association and the incoming President of the Anderson Investment Association.
Prior to Anderson, Harry worked as a corporate and antitrust attorney at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, one of Europe's largest corporate law firms. At Freshfields, Harry worked on transformational M&A deals for industry leaders such as the London Stock Exchange Group, as well as Blackstone and other private equity firms. Harry also worked for a real estate development firm in Newport Beach analyzing land acquisition deals in LA and Orange County. Harry earned his B.A in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University, where he was a member of the varsity cricket team.
Victoria Sikes (’20)
Summer Intership: Capital Group
Victoria Sikes is pursuing her MBA with an emphasis in finance at UCLA Anderson. She was a first-year director in the Investment Finance Association and Admission Ambassador Corps.
Prior to Anderson, Victoria worked as a consultant at a financial advisory firm focused on intellectual property assets where she developed financial models and analysis in IP-related valuation engagements. She also worked on the corporate development team at TransUnion, which was responsible for leading company-wide strategy and executing M&A transactions. Victoria graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is also a CFA charterholder.
Tyler Cantarano (’21)
Tyler Cantarano is pursuing his MBA with a specialization in finance - investment management at UCLA Anderson. He is a member of the Investment Finance Association and Director of the Anderson Investment Association.
Prior to Anderson, Tyler was an Investment Associate at Citadel LLC, a global alternative asset management firm based in Chicago. During his tenure at Citadel, Tyler focused on evaluating potential equity investments, performing extensive research and monitoring portfolio investments. Prior to Citadel, Tyler worked at Lexington Partners, a private equity firm based in New York. At Lexington, he focused on evaluating, executing and supporting investments across the private market. Prior to Lexington, Tyler started his career as an analyst in investment banking within the Financial Institutions Group at Barclays in New York. Tyler graduated from Duke University, where he received a BA in Philosophy.
Colton Pace ('21)
Colton Pace is pursuing an MBA with a specialization in finance – investment management and entrepreneurship at UCLA Anderson. Before Anderson, he was an associate at Madrona Venture Labs investing in and building early-stage companies. Prior to Madrona, Colton worked for four years at Vulcan Capital on the investment management team. Colton graduated with honors from the University of Washington with a B.A in Information Systems.
At Anderson, Colton is a Director for the Investment Finance Association and is Director of Venture Capital for the Entrepreneur Association.
Caroline Ward ('21)
Caroline Ward is a Kayne Investment Management Fellow and Forte Fellow pursuing an MBA at the UCLA Anderson. She is a Director of the Anderson Investment Association and Anderson Admission Corps.
Prior to Anderson, Caroline worked as a fixed income associate for Travelers Insurance where she conducted fundamental investment research on corporate and municipal debt issuers for Travelers’ $70bn portfolio. She also passed all three CFA exams. Caroline graduated cum laude from Claremont McKenna College with a dual major in Economics/Accounting and Literature, where she was a seven-time All-American tennis player.
Jamie Wolf ('21)
Jamie Wolf is pursuing his MBA with a specialization in finance - investment management and executive development at UCLA Anderson. He is a Director of the Investment Finance Association.
Prior to Anderson, Jamie worked as a Senior Equity Analyst at the Haverford Trust Company, a quality focused long-term investment management firm. At Haverford, Jamie performed deep fundamental diligence on companies from a variety of sectors and was responsible for coverage of $1 billion in AUM invested in individual equities. Jamie earned a B.A in Chemistry and a B.A. in Economics, from Franklin & Marshall College, where he was a member of the Cycling Team.
