Master of Financial Engineering Fellowship

The Fink Center Master of Financial Engineering (MFE) fellowship was launched in 2018 with the goal of helping outstanding MFE students navigate their job search and career options. Each fellow is matched with four industry professionals in the field of quantitative finance who provide career advice and guidance throughout the recruiting process. The assignment of four mentors from different areas of financial engineering (Asset Management, Investment Banking, Risk Management and Research) provides fellows with a unique 360° perspective on the industry. While the cornerstone of the program is the invaluable mentorship that fellows receive, additional benefits include: a nominal monetary fellowship award, facilitated access to special events with distinguished finance professionals who are friends of the Fink Center and designation as a Fink Fellow.

The Selection Process

Applications for the 2018-2019 Fellowship are currently closed.

Applications are made available to MFE students at the beginning of each school year. The program is open to all MFE students with a demonstrated interest and commitment to their career goals. We encourage applications both from those with experience in the industry and from those who are considering entering finance for the first time. Applicants must submit a resume and written essay, and finalists must pass through an interview consisting of the program administrators before being selected. Fellows will be chosen based on academic excellence, innovation, creativity, and motivation to succeed in the world of quantitative finance. Fellows are expected to participate in the standard recruiting process through the MFE Career Services Office, in addition to attending special meetings organized by the program.
