Fink Center is committed to supporting research and the practice of finance in the Anderson community.

In order to fulfill this commitment, we select three types of fellows each year: MBA Fellows, Ph.D. Fellows and Faculty Fellows. We provide our fellows with financial support as well as valuable mentorship resources.

Brianna Hammer(’19)
Investment Banking Fellow

Brianna Hammer is an MBA candidate and Forté Foundation Fellow at UCLA Anderson, specializing in Finance. Prior to Anderson, Brianna worked for Procter & Gamble in corporate finance, most recently in a client-facing role on the Costco U.S. team where she led investment optimization analysis for pricing activity, forecasted revenue and trade spending for the Household Needs businesses, and interfaced with client leadership through joint business planning.

She graduated from Purdue University in 2013 with a B.S. in Economics Honors, a B.A. in Political Science, a Mathematics concentration, and a Spanish minor. At UCLA Anderson, Brianna is currently serving as a Director for the Investment Finance Association and as a first-year Section President in the Anderson Student Association. She is recruiting for a Summer Associate role in investment banking.

Nick Lindholm (’19)
Investment Banking Fellow

Nick Lindholm is pursuing an MBA at UCLA Anderson with an emphasis on Finance. Prior to attending Anderson, Nick worked as an Senior Analyst at a boutique investment bank, JMP Securities, where he executed various transactions, including sellside m&a, IPOs, Follow-Ons, and Private Placements for high growth biotechnology and medical device firms. Prior to JMP, Nick was a Cash Desk Associate in PIMCO’s Portfolio Management Group in Newport Beach, where he managed the cash investment and liquidity monitoring process in all of PIMCO’s publicly traded mutual funds and separately managed accounts.

Nick graduated from the University of Southern California in 2012 with a B.S. in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance. At Anderson, Nick is currently a member of the Investment Finance Association and a First-Year Liason for the Admissions Ambassador Corps. He is recruiting for a Summer Associate role at an Investment Bank.

Jonathan Wagmeister (’19)
Investment Banking Fellow

Jonathan Wagmeister is pursuing an MBA at UCLA Anderson with an emphasis on Finance. Prior to Anderson, Jonathan worked at American Express in New York City. Most recently, he focused on strategy and business development for Amex’s Centurion Lounges, analyzing and pitching business cases for pipeline transactions, managing client relationships, and overseeing project teams responsible for the launch of new locations.

Prior to Amex, Jonathan graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2013, where he studied Communication and Consumer Psychology. While at Penn, Jonathan also attended the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011. At Anderson, Jonathan is currently serving as a first year Director for both the Investment Finance Association and the Jewish Business Students Association, and is participating in the Anderson Leadership Development Program. He is recruiting for a Summer Associate role at an Investment Bank.

Mark Zerlang (’19)
Investment Banking Fellow

Mark Zerlang is pursuing an MBA at UCLA Anderson with an emphasis on finance. Prior to Anderson, Mark worked at ICONIQ Capital, where he sourced and underwrote third party investment managers across all asset classes. Before ICONIQ, Mark worked at The Ayco Company, a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs, where he advised corporate executives and their families on their personal finances.

Mark graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.A. in finance and has passed Level II of the CFA. At Anderson, Mark is currently serving as a First-Year Director for both the Investment Finance Association and Anderson Soccer Club. He is recruiting for a Summer Associate role at an investment bank.

Richard Chiang (’19)
Kayne Investment Management Fellow

Richard Chiang is pursuing an MBA with a specialization in Finance - Investment Management at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is a member of the Investment Finance Association and currently serves as a "Days on the Job" Director on the board. He is also a recipient of the Robert Toigo Foundation Fellowship.Prior to Anderson, Richard worked in institutional client management at PIMCO as a member of the Financial Institutions Group. As a senior associate, he focused on servicing and deepening relationships with insurance companies, and providing analysis on client portfolio structures and performance attribution.

He also previously worked in internal sales in PIMCO's global wealth management division, cultivating relationships with financial advisors based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Richard graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011 with a B.A. in International Relations and a minor in Chinese and East Asian Studies.

Hannah Greene (’19)
Kayne Investment Management Fellow

Hannah is pursuing her MBA with a specialization in Finance – Investment Management at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. At Anderson, Hannah is a Kayne Investment Management Fellow and a first-year director of the Fink Center Investment Conference.

Prior to Anderson, Hannah was an associate director on the EMEA Distribution team at Artisan Partners in London, where she represented Artisan's long-only equity strategies to institutional investors and investment consultants in the UK and Ireland. She began her career at Artisan in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as an associate on the Marketing & Communications team. Hannah graduated from the University of Virginia in 2011 with a B.A in History.

Reed Wagener ('19)
Kayne Investment Mangement Fellow

Reed is pursuing his MBA with a specialization in Finance - Investment Management at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Reed is a member of the Investment Finance Association and is a first-year director of the Fink Center Credit Pitch Competition. Prior to arriving at Anderson, Reed worked on the trading desk at First Western Capital Management. As a trading associate, he was responsible for trading equity and fixed income assets of $1.5B and creating fixed income analytics reports for all company products.

He started his career at Western Asset Management Company, where he was responsible for fund accounting on the company's sub-advised funds team. Reed graduated from Washington University in St. Louis where he earned in B.A. in psychology, marketing, and entrepreneurship.

Alec Dorman (’19)
Brown Private Equity and Alternatives Fellow

Alec Dorman is pursuing an MBA with an emphasis on finance at UCLA Anderson. Alec is the director of private equity for the Investment Finance Association and a recipient of the UCLA Anderson Merit Fellowship. Prior to UCLA, Alec worked as a private equity associate in the Los Angeles office of Sun Capital Partners. While at Sun Capital, Alec focused on new deal execution and due diligence across the consumer, business services, technology, and industrials sectors. He was also responsible for partnering with several portfolio companies and maintaining investment banker relationships.

Prior to Sun Capital, Alec was an investment banking analyst at Piper Jaffray in San Francisco where he focused on mergers and acquisition advisory as well as debt and equity offerings in the consumer industry. Alec graduated from Claremont McKenna College in Los Angeles with a B.A. in Economics-Accounting.

David Frankl (’19)
Brown Private Equity and Alternatives Fellow

David Frankel is pursuing an MBA with an emphasis on finance and entrepreneurship at UCLA Anderson. Prior to Anderson, David served as a Senior Associate for ff venture capital, an early-stage, generalist venture capital firm based in NY. Among his many responsibilities, David led the firm’s due diligence team evaluating 3,000+ investment opportunities every year and worked hand-in-hand with the firm’s 70+ active portfolio companies.

Prior to venture capital, David served as a Senior Consultant in the NY-based advisory practice of Ernst & Young where he advised financial service companies through a variety of strategic and operational initiatives.

At Anderson, David is a director of Venture Capital for the Entrepreneurs Association, the director of Alumni Relations for the Jewish Business Students Association and a recipient of a UCLA Anderson Merit Fellowship. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Yeshiva University, with a B.S. in Finance.

Didrick Hajost (’19)
Brown Private Equity and Alternatives Fellow

Didrick "Rick" Hajost is pursuing an MBA with an emphasis on Finance and Real Estate at UCLA Anderson. Before coming to Anderson, Rick worked for J.P. Morgan on their Corporate Derivative Marketing team in Los Angeles, specifically focusing on foreign exchange derivatives. Before J.P. Morgan, he spent four and a half years as an Army Ranger assigned to Third Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment in Fort Benning, Georgia and served on two deployments to Afghanistan.

Before joining the military, Rick graduated with honors with a B.S. in Business Administration and Corporate Finance from the University of Southern California. Rick is currently a director of events for the Anderson Real Estate Association, and a director of alumni relations for the Anderson Veterans Association.

Pablo Osorio Martini (’19)
Brown Private Equity and Alternatives Fellow

Pablo Osorio Martini is pursuing an MBA with an emphasis on finance and entrepreneurship at UCLA Anderson. Pablo is director of the Anderson Impact Investing Fund, team lead of Anderson's team for the 2019 Venture Capital Investment Competition, director of social for the Latin American Business Association and member of the Investment Finance Association and Entrepreneurship Association.

Prior to attending UCLA Anderson, Pablo worked in the financial industry for 6 years, first focused on mergers and acquisitions across industries such as banking, insurance, healthcare, agriculture, and industrial manufacturing. He then joined the private equity arm of Megeve Investments, the family office of one of the major economic groups in Chile. As a Private Equity Senior Associate, Pablo participated in major investment decisions for companies throughout Latin America and built an expertise in industries such as mining, energy, forestry, real estate and salmon. He graduated from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile, where he earned his Master in Engineering and his B.Sc. in Engineering, major in Informational Technology.
