CES 2015

CES® 2015 held at UCLA Anderson

January 8th, 2015

UCLA Anderson School of Management

Technology advances so rapidly you almost don't notice how fast your new iPhone becomes last year's model. And even the new models of consumer electronics are the product of last year's work - what companies are working on now isn't available yet. How will I use the newest wearable smart device? Want to try to fly a drone? What is Virtual Reality gaming like? Will I ever own a driverless car? How can you learn about trends in technology that are actually current? That's where The 2015 International CES comes in - an annual event held in Las Vegas that showcases the top consumer electronics companies. But unless you fly to Vegas there's no way to enjoy the newest innovations and ideas.

The Easton Center for Technology Management (previously Easton Technology Leadership Program) brought CES to you at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. The program included talks on topics addressed at the International CES, and panels streaming content from select International CES sessions in Las Vegas followed by discussions around that theme by invited industry professionals, faculty and students. The themes of the CES held at UCLA Anderson event included the Internet of Things, Wearables, Robotics, Virtual Reality, and Self-driving Cars.

The Technology Tables allowed attendees to play around with the newest consumer electronics. The event culminated with Anderson Afternoons, a networking reception sponsored by The Easton Center.
