The program offers senior executives from around the world a global perspective on leadership and management. Students meet for six two-week teaching modules in Singapore, Shenzhen/Shanghai, New Delhi/Bangalore and Los Angeles. Mumbai will replace New Delhi for future classes. During the modules, to complement classroom learning, students are immersed in site visits, meetings with leading global executives across a variety of industries and disciplines, and projects with international companies. The program culminates with a Management Practicum, a global strategic consulting project. In addition to being a dual-degree program (unlike joint-degree programs in which graduates earn only one diploma), the program offers executives the flexibility to meet in different locations and to communicate electronically between sessions.
The evolving curriculum reflects the changing needs and activity of the marketplace. Over the 15+ years of the program, many innovations have been introduced, including a class on communications, career workshops and enhanced career mentoring and pre-class online sessions. To build personal connections and extend their network, UCLA-NUS EMBA students take elective courses with UCLA Anderson's Los Angeles-based EMBA students during the final segment of the program in August. Students can also join the CGM's global immersion courses with students from Anderson's full-time, fully employed and executive MBA programs.
Upon completion of the program, participants are awarded two globally recognized MBA degrees — one from UCLA Anderson and one from the National University of Singapore Business School — equipping them with the essential skills and knowledge required to lead organizations successfully in a global economy.
