Sandy Huang (BA '94, MBA '99)

Sandy has spent over 15 years building technology products to delight and engage users. As a Principal Product Manager at Amazon, she innovates on Alexa discovery and engagement experiences, pushing the voice-driven AI service to the boundaries of what’s possible.

Prior to Amazon, as Head of Product for community at Flipboard, Sandy created ways for global users to connect on news and interest topics. She has also held several other senior leadership roles. At Jive Software, she led multiple communication and collaboration products from ideation to release. At Minted, she developed online shopping innovations for which she was awarded patents. Additionally, she built and launched a new business at Shutterfly.

Sandy holds a BA in Communications Studies from UCLA, graduating summa cum laude and with College Honors. After working as a story editor at 3 Arts Entertainment, she went back to earn her MBA from UCLA Anderson.

With a deep passion for the performing arts, Sandy enjoys theater, improv, dance, and singing. She is an advisor to HPCMusic, a startup at the intersection of technology and music, and volunteers at a youth theater where her daughter performs.
