Jim Moffatt is CEO, Global Consulting, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited in the U.S. He has served in various senior positions in Deloitte U.S., including serving as Chairman and CEO of Deloitte Consulting LLP from 2011-2015.

Since joining the Deloitte U.S. practice in 1987, Jim has earned a long-standing reputation for serving clients with distinction from strategy through execution and developing the next generation of leaders. Forging the link between serving clients and attaining market leadership, he established a client excellence program which brought together the relationship leaders for 100+ of Deloitte Consulting LLP’s largest accounts to regularly share best practices that led to achieving meaningful and sustainable results. In his U.S. firm role, he serves as an advisor to multiple Fortune 500 clients, working closely with C-suite executives and engagement teams to deliver industry-leading insights and innovative solutions, helping clients to confidently tackle their toughest issues. Jim was also instrumental in creating Deloitte LLP’s pro bono program in 2008, which has since received national acclaim – including White House recognition for creating significant societal impact and delivering business value.

Jim has authored multiple articles on leadership, innovation, talent management, and mentoring in top tier media outlets including Bloomberg Business Week, Fox Business, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Forbes, CNBC.com, Huffington Post, and Consulting magazine. He has been a featured speaker in the U.S. and globally on topics such as innovation, disruption, business performance, global economic growth, and leadership at venues including the Global 50, Milken Institute Global Conference, Wharton Business School, Detroit Economic Club, Oracle Open World, and Consulting Magazine Summit. Jim also was recognized by UCLA Anderson as one of its “100 Inspirational Alumni.” 

Jim is proud to call UCLA "home" since he and his wife, Cynthy, are both UCLA Anderson MBA alums, and their daughter, Caley, is a recent UCLA graduate. Since graduating from UCLA Anderson, Jim has been a passionate and committed mentor and advocate for Bruins. He was personally responsible for establishing UCLA Anderson as one of Deloitte U.S.'s select number of national recruiting schools. He has also served in such roles as the Deloitte Campus Recruiting Champion for UCLA Anderson and a judge for UCLA Anderson case competitions, and he has led pro bono projects to support the Parker Career Management Center.

Jim and his wife have three children and live in Los Angeles, California.
