What's Current October 2022

October 2022

Welcome to the October edition of our newsletter, What’s Current. This month, we share items highlighting the inspiring careers and current projects of UCLA Anderson alumni, students and donors, and others featuring innovative courses and research by Anderson faculty. In just one example, Professor Dan Benjamin’s cutting-edge new course on precision health care was developed in collaboration with the student-led Healthcare Business Association and aims to prepare MBA students for that fast-changing industry. We share an Instagram recap from our inaugural Global Sports Business Forum and a video from the UCLA Anderson Forecast’s 70th anniversary celebration, which features a
conversation between former Gov. Jerry Brown and emeritus Forecast director Ed Leamer. Finally, given the recent unrest in Iran, which has been deeply concerning to me and so many across our community, I encourage you to read Chancellor Block’s thoughtful October newsletter item about how Bruins are responding to these events.
