What's Current April 2023

April 2023

Welcome to the April edition of our monthly newsletter, What’s Current. I’m especially excited to announce our 2023 commencement speaker for our MBA and Ph.D. programs — Mayor Karen Bass. As we share below, she is the first woman and the second African American to be elected as Los Angeles’ chief executive. We are truly honored that she will join us to celebrate our Class of 2023! But first, we have much left to commemorate and accomplish in the busy remaining weeks of spring quarter. In this newsletter, we showcase April’s
wide-ranging campus events and spotlight a few of Anderson’s outstanding student, faculty and alumni leaders who are making a positive impact. Later this week, we will welcome back alumni from around the world for their class reunions. Wishing each of you a strong finish to the school year!
