The theme was "Lessons from LA's most effective startups", and the event focused on the startup ecosystem developing in LA as well as emerging markets creating opportunities for LA founders. The conference was anchored by keynote speakers Barry Eggers, Partner at Lightspeed Ventures and first investor in Snap, Inc., and John Tabis, Founder and CEO of LA-based online flower retailer The Bouqs. Each discussed the significance of Los Angeles as a new center for innovation, the growth of LA startups and appeal to investors, and their personal experiences with entrepreneurship.
