PAST EVENTS

Main events undertaken by MBSA in the past:

1. Three part lecture series on Islamic Banking and Finance by Dr. M.N. Siddiqi, a pioneer in this field, held at The Anderson School and co-sponsored by the Center of Near Eastern Studies. About 30 people attended, including members of
   LARIBA American Finance House. This event inspired a finance professor to give a lecture on the topic of Islamic Banking in one of his classes. Please go to resources page to read the summary of the lecture.
   
   
2. Lecture on Economics of Oil by Cyrus Bina, co-sponsored by the Center for Near Eastern Studies
