With an increasing presence of quality Latin content in films as well as an increasing interest in further developing alternate markets due to threats to current revenue streams such as piracy, electronic media, and VOD etc., Latin America as a distribution market as well as a source for content is continuously gaining importance in the Entertainment industry. The purpose of this panel is to address the distinctions and issues the US faces against this markets, as well as those within the Latin American market itself in order to clearly identify the opportunities it offers to the film and entertainment media industries. To best accomplish this objective we have invited a prestigious and experienced panel that will discuss the following:
- Perspective and importance of the Latin American for US distributors.
- Similarities and differences within Latin American countries as distribution markets and the US Latino market.
- American content cultural clash within the Latin American Market (demographics, religion, etc.)

- What is being done to meet current and future demand for content?
- What promotion and distribution strategies apply for the Latin American market.
