Japan America Business Association (JABA) would like to thank you for agreeing to participate in the JABA Conference 2007. The program allows us to provide you with opportunities to learn not only about business between US and Japan, but also about Japanese culture, food, and entertainment.

Mission Statement

The Japan America Business Association (JABA) is an organization which aims to introduce Japanese culture to the Anderson community through fun and memorable experiences. JABA is also the main contact point between the Japanese business community and Anderson, and offers valuable career opportunities both in and out of Japan.

Our major activities include…
• The Japan Trip (spring break)
• The Japan Conference (winter quarter)
• Bizarre Performances (Cabaret, International Food Festival, Asian Food Festival, etc…)
• Delicious Japanese Food (Sushi party, potluck, food festivals, etc…)
• Free Lessons (Conversation, business etiquette, cooking, KARAOKE, etc… )
• Networking events (Internship and employment opportunities with top Japanese firms)
• Admissions (Support admissions office with prospects and admits coming from Japan)

First-Year Leadership Positions: Each year we encourage 1st year students to become involved in the leadership of the Association. Please contact us or visit our booth at the club fair to learn more about available positions or any further questions about the club.
