AMSA Member Spotlight - Sam Kang

Sam grew up in the Los Angeles community of Eagle Rock. He attended Stanford University and earned a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating, he worked at a small product development firm in Silicon Valley called MindTribe Product Engineering. At MindTribe, Sam helped design several technology products including the Flip Mino camcorder, the Aliph Jawbone headset, and a subsystem for the Tesla Roadster. His roles included engineering, project management, and overseas manufacturing support.


Sam came to Anderson to solve larger business problems and to be closer to his family. After graduating, he hopes to pursue a career in Management Consulting. He will intern this summer with Bain & Company in their Los Angeles office.
